As someone who was blessed to have known Stevie Ray Vaughan... this song touches my soul so deeply... that nothing money can buy this Holiday Season could possibly replace the way I'm feeling at this moment. "Angels Singing My Song" is truly the soundtrack of my life. And the release of it, at this date & time... Merry Xmas to ME ! One of the most beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard. Cannot turn it off. Since loosing my Buddy Stevie... I did turn to Ambient/down tempo to sooth my soul in the past 3 years or so. I know, it's been over 16 years since he passed, but at times, it feels like yesterday. Then, to hear a blend of that guitar 'tone' w/ 'ambient' is... surreal & yet, healing. The lyrics...
